Question 1

When do I actually get paid?

Accepted Answer

Every Wednesday straight into your Indian bank account, once the balance clears ₹500. One-time penny-drop KYC before your first payout.

Question 2

Do I need to build my own Telegram bot?

Accepted Answer

No. Add the verified @My_Scoop_Bot as an admin and MyScoop handles single-use invites and removes members the moment their subscription lapses.

Question 3

How does UPI AutoPay billing work?

Accepted Answer

Buyers approve a recurring mandate once in PhonePe, Google Pay or Paytm. It renews monthly — no cards, no reminders, no failed payments.

Question 4

Why not just use Patreon or Gumroad?

Accepted Answer

Both run on international cards: 10% plus 3.5% forex, high Indian card failure rates and slow cross-border payouts. MyScoop is native UPI, a flat 10%, and a weekly bank transfer.

Question 5

What is the payment gateway fee?

Accepted Answer

Beyond the flat 10% platform fee, RBI-licensed gateways charge ~2% (+18% GST) to move money. MyScoop passes that through at cost, with zero markup.

Question 6

Is there a yearly discount?

Accepted Answer

Video Academy is ₹999/mo or ₹9,990/year — two months free. Digital Store & Communities stays ₹0/month forever.

Question 7

What if I pass the 30 GB storage limit?

Accepted Answer

Self-serve Storage Booster Packs: +50 GB at ₹199/mo up to +500 GB at ₹1,499/mo, with no bandwidth egress charges.

Question 8

How do 15-minute download links work?

Accepted Answer

The timer starts when the download connects, not when it finishes, so a slow link still completes. Any time later, your order receipt mints a fresh one.

Question 9

Is a phone number watermark legal?

Accepted Answer

Raw numbers are not. MyScoop masks them (+91 98*** **210) and adds an encrypted session token, so a leaked clip traces back to one buyer under the DPDP Act.
